NEW! 2012 Air Force Clubs Membership Scholarship Program |
 |
Going to college? Enter for a chance to win $1,000
Every year, AF Services gives away $25,000 in scholarship money for higher education. All eligible club members and their families are encouraged to compete for the funds through a themed essay entry.
Want to enter this year's program? Write a one-page essay of 500 words or less on the topic: "What do the words to America the Beautiful mean to me?" Rules and eligibility restrictions apply; be sure to review details specified in the official 2012 Air Force Clubs Membership Scholarship Entry Form available at the Commons, the Fitness & Sports Center, Airman & Family Readiness Center and Youth Center.
Current Air Force members and their family members (e.g., spouse, son, daughter, stepson and stepdaughter) who have been accepted by or are enrolled in an accredited college or university for entry during the fall of 2012 term as a part- or full-time student are eligible to enter. Grandchildren who are dependents of the club member are also eligible. Applicants must provide a copy of their college or university acceptance letter or latest transcripts. Student enrollment status may involve either undergraduate or graduate curriculum. Other rules and restrictions apply.
Completed essay packages must be submitted on a CD to the FSS Marketing/Sponsorship Office in Bldg. 1305 (Brown Building), 2nd floor, by Monday, July 2. Final scholarship awards will be announced on Monday, Sept. 17, 2012.
You'll find entry forms and more information, as well as last year's winning essays, at http://www.afclubs.net/CN_Scholarship.htm |
